Willemstad
When visiting Curacao, Willemstad will be the central hub of your visit. The city is divided by St. Anna Bay into two historic districts. Punda is the business district with narrow streets lined with shops, museums and restaurants. Across the bay is the district of Otrobanda and its name when translated appropriately means “The Other Side”. Diving and swimming with dolphins are popular activities in the bay.
The real highlight of the city is the architecture. You will see unique pastel colors and a strong Dutch influence which makes Curacao unlike any other island in the Caribbean.
