Watch Sea Turtles Hatch
A moonlit night is the perfect time to sit on the beach and observe the nesting behavior of turtles emerging from the ocean and laying their eggs in the sand. Some of these bony-shelled turtles are seven feet long and weigh more than a thousand pounds. March through July is considered Leatherback Season in Grenada. By the end of July, the last little hatchlings come out of their shells and make their way across the beach and back into the sea. Levera National Park is one of the best places to watch this wonder of nature.
