Walk the High Line
If you go to Manhattan’s West Side, you will notice a 1.45 mile long park towering above the road. In 2006, its renovation began with the addition of benches, bushes, flowers and art along its path. This urban walkway was built on top of an old, elevated freight railway line and is now New York’s most expensive park per acre. During peak hours on the weekend, this path gets extremely crowded.
