Visit Madame Tussauds
This famous, wax museum’s original location began in London in 1884. In 2000, Madame Tussauds opened its doors to a museum in New York City. The museum continues to maintain the traditional, 200 year old processes for designing realistic, wax sculptures of celebrities and historical figures. The collection of over 200 life-like people is spread throughout five floors of the museum. You can also visit the area dedicated to explaining how wax figures are made, a detailed process that can take four to six months at a cost of about $300,000.
