Visit a Haunted Saloon
This saloon is 101 years old and it is supposedly haunted! It’s located in a ghost town just 30 minutes outside of Las Vegas.
The Saloon has been featured in countless movies and television shows but the genuine stories of the Pioneer Saloon do not live in the lines of a movie script but in the echoes of the past. The famous screen legend, Clark Gable, waited for three days at the bar for word on his wife of less than two years, Carole Lombard. She was lost in a plane crash near Mount Potosi.
Much of the decor that graces the big screen sits around the saloon and hangs on the walls to this day. Original newspaper clippings tell story after story of the incredible history of this saloon from yesterday. As you cross the threshold from the present to the past, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip, you will quickly come to appreciate this historical landmark. Within its cozy atmosphere lies a rich history and heritage of the old mining towns, Hollywood of yesteryear and the Wild West!
