Tour the Cailler Chocolate Factory in Broc
The happiest cows in the world live in Switzerland. The rich and creamy milk from these happy cows is what makes Swiss chocolate so famous. One of the oldest brands in the chocolate business, Cailler, has been making chocolate since 1891. Explore the history of chocolate from the days of the Aztec cocoa ceremonies to the present day chocolate creations during a one hour, interactive, museum tour of the factory.
During the tour, you will learn how chocolate came to Europe and see a small-scale production line where some mini chocolate bars are made. At the end of the tour, you will get to indulge your sweet tooth with a chocolate tasting experience where you can sample a large variety of exquisite, high quality chocolates. You can buy your favorite chocolates at the Cailler gift shop at the end of your tour or enjoy hot chocolate and snacks at its small cafe. If you want to attend a chocolate cooking session at the factory’s Chocolate Studio, you will need to make reservations in advance.
