
Space Needle Observation Deck
In 1962, Seattle hosted the World’s Fair and built this iconic landmark. It is recognized around the world because of its distinctive structure and it draws an immediate association with Seattle whenever and wherever it’s seen. The observation tower rises 605 feet above the city center and its foundation has 72 bolts that are each 30 feet long.
