The world’s oldest folk museum is at Skansen. This is a great spot for families and people of all ages to visit. It features an open air museum that encapsulates Swedish architecture throughout history, as well as a zoo and several places to stop and eat. There are more than 150 old homes, churches, shops and schools. The island Djurgarden is reachable on a walking bridge, by ferry, tram or bus. Take an afternoon and evening here to really get a complete look at Swedish culture.
