Hike Up a Volcano

The most active volcanoes in the world are in Costa Rica which is located along the Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean. There are six, active volcanoes that have trails to the summit, making for great hikes to see some of nature’s most spectacular wonders. Your hike through the lower slopes will be through lush rainforests that are rich with wildlife. There are also waterfalls, rivers and hot springs along the trek to the top. You can even walk across lava fields from previous eruptions. Standing on the rim of an ancient volcano while gazing at 360 degrees of pristine beauty, will make you feel like you are on top of the world.
