Hike the Mastic Trail
This gravel path is 200 years old and will take you over two miles of trails that wind through a nature reserve of mangrove swamps and woodlands. It is a natural preserve of the island’s most unique plants and wildlife. Some parts of the footpath are over rocky, jagged limestone which makes this a more challenging adventure. The trail is not a loop. It is a one way path so when you reach the end, you will need to turn around and hike back. There are also lots of snakes in the area so if you aren’t a fan of snakes, you might want to walk at a faster pace.
