Gros Piton Nature Trail

Put on your hiking shoes and spend the next few hours enjoying one of the best adventures on the most beautiful island in the Caribbean. On your ascent to the summit, you will see exotic, rainforest vegetation and wildlife. Humpback whales are often spotted in the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea just off the coast as you hike the trail.
You will have panoramic views from the summit of Gros Piton, one of two stunning, volcanic peaks that rise from the sea. They are iconic landmarks of St. Lucia. The Arawaks, the island’s earliest inhabitants, worshipped Gros Piton as their god of thunder, rain and fire.
