Capilano Suspension Bridge
Overcome your vertigo and experience Vancouver the way the birds do. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is the oldest tourist attraction in the city. It was originally constructed in 1889. The 450 foot long, 230 foot high bridge offers spectacular views of the Capilano River below. When you reach the other side of the canyon, there are more suspension bridges and daredevil activities at the Treetop Adventure. Continue to tempt fate along the Cliff Hanger Walk, a path that meanders along the canyon’s edge, or enjoy some entertainment offered by wood carvers, fiddle players and First Nations dancers.
